In 2023, the Toyota bZ4X debuted as the company's first mass-produced electric vehicle (EV). This year, the 2026 Toyota bZ rockets this all-electric SUV into a new era. Power and Performance
The 2026 Toyota bZ comes in two trims: the XLE trim and the Limited trim. Both can be configured with one electric motor, a 57.7 kWh battery pack, and front-wheel drive (FWD), or two electric motors, a 74.7 kWh battery pack, and all-wheel drive (AWD). AWD models go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds thanks to 338 net horsepower. This is a 50% increase over the 214 horsepower achieved by last year's AWD models.
Range and Charging
Along with increased horsepower, the new battery helps this new Toyota EV attain up to 314 miles of manufacturer-estimated range - an increase of 25% over the previous model's 252-mile range. For charging, the 2026 Toyota bZ is equipped with a NACS port that allows for recharging the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.
Cargo and Cabin
The cabin of this new EV is plenty roomy. There's 27.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, and you'll also enjoy 42.1 inches of front-row legroom and 35.3 inches in the second row. Moreover, cabin design has been further refined this year, with highlights including a slimmer dashboard design and front and rear ambient lighting.
Infotainment
Infotainment-wise, the reimagined dashboard design makes room for a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia® touchscreen, the biggest screen yet for the Toyota bZ. It's joined by top-line tech such as dual wireless chargers, wireless smartphone connectivity, and six-speaker audio.
