If you're in the market for a new sedan, there are more than a few great options available here at Hall Toyota Virginia Beach. Some drivers want to talk to a Toyota Camry dealer, but others prefer the Toyota Corolla.

Both models have a lot to offer, but you should be aware of some key differences between them before you shop.

Size

The 2023 Toyota Camry is a bit roomier than the 2023 Toyota Corolla. Both sedans offer space for five people, but the Toyota Camry offers a bit more room to stretch out with up to 99 cubic feet of passenger volume. The Toyota Corolla maxes out at 88.6 cubic feet of passenger volume.

The smaller Toyota sedan's trunk gives you 13.1 cubic feet of space for cargo. The trunk in the Toyota Camry offers 15.1 cubic feet of space.

Price

The Toyota Corolla is a great option for drivers on a budget with a starting MSRP of $21,550.  On the other hand, the Toyota Camry starts at $26,220.

Trim Levels

The Toyota Corolla is offered in seven trim levels, including four hybrid models. The Toyota Camry offers even more choices. There are 13 unique trim levels to choose from, including multiple hybrids, a rugged TRD model, and a few trims with more powerful V6 engines.

Power

Speaking of engines, the Toyota Corolla can be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, or you can go with an electrified powertrain. The Toyota Corolla Hybrid maxes out at 138 horsepower.

Most gasoline-powered trim levels of the Toyota Camry have an output of 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid models produce 208 horsepower. The top trim levels with an available V6 engine have 301 horsepower at their disposal.
