It’s always exciting when Toyota makes an announcement that a new vehicle (or new iteration of an existing vehicle) is set to debut at dealerships like Hall Toyota Virginia Beach in the near future. The latest Toyota Tundra, for example, recently got the teaser treatment from the Toyota PR department, who released a shadowy image of the updated pickup truck.
Right on key, we went right on ahead and got excited about it, and we think our customers in and around Virginia Beach, VA will be excited about it, too.
New Drivetrains
One of the most notable upgrades to the 2022 Toyota Tundra will be in the arena of drivetrains, where we expect a new twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, as well as an all-electric powertrain option. These are both excellent developments for those who are excited for what should be a more comfortable, more powerful truck on one hand, and a more environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient pickup on the other hand.
LED Lights Galore
One thing we definitely can see in the new teaser images is a bevy of bright-shining LED lights. We expect these to feature prominently on the updated trucks front and rear, with daytime running lights, fog lights, and main beams that all shine brightly via LEDs.
When Does It Arrive?
Usually when an automaker is releasing teaser images, we’re not all that close to the actual release date. Still, with a 2022 model year designation, we expect that this updated pickup will arrive at your Toyota dealership in Virginia by the end of the calendar year.
